Michaela Kuhn - Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina

Michaela in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. with her husband, Mike, and has three adult children.  She is the owner of The Clay Cottage and Art Studio, also in Mt. Pleasant.  Her pottery is inspired by her love of the natural beauty found in the Carolina Low Country.  She has always had a love of local botanicals and uses them to create one of a kind platters and bowls, of all sizes.  She includes palmetto trees, sea turtles, and seashells in her designs.  She loves to explore her craft by including burnishing, weaving and carving in her vessels.
